To qualify to apply for the HERO, the EFIN holder must have at least 100 funded RT's last season and a min. 85% funding rate. The EFIN holder must also be fully enrolled with Refundo, having completed the 2026 compliance test and having sent your Y enrollment record via one of our integrated tax software partners.
If the ERO qualifies, the HERO tab will be enabled from the 2026 dashboard. Once you click on the HERO tab, you will be taken to the application. You will want to input the requested amount and the purpose of the loan. Then enter all requested information into the additional type- in fields. Please make sure everything is filled in including the DBA. From there you will be able to attach the various documents we require. You will also see a guarantor section. This only needs to be filled out if you have another person listed in your articles of incorporation. Otherwise leave this section blank. Also note the business address within the articles of incorporation must match the legal business address (even if the business moved). Note we are not asking for your physical address. Again, the legal business address is whatever the state has listed in the articles of incorporation.
The typical turnaround time to process the application is ~7 days but can be longer if the ERO has an incomplete application. If approved, you would expect your funds within 2-4 business days after the processing timeframe.

If you have received a loan from another bank your HERO will be declined
